Happiest Place on EARTH

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2 If the two hundred dollar tickets weren't enough to turn you away, perhaps the hour wait to park or football length lines to get through the gate would be enough! And what's better than rushing inside to wait in more lines and plow your way through countless amounts of people? Yet, day after day this place, also known as the "happiest place on earth" brings in tons and tons of guests. The scenario above doesn't exactly sound happy. However, time and time again we find visitors from all over the world making their way to, the place where magic happens, Disneyl

ALL or NOTHING.

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent. Exodus 14:14 If you checked the headlines from the past week, you'd see plenty of newsworthy stories. Breaking news hit Monday when our blessed Pope announced his resignation. Next, news reports covered a police shoot out in Big Bear. As the analysis of both those events continued, stories mentioned Ash Wednesday services and Valentine's Day happenings. Reports hit of a meteor in Russia and a double paraplegic and Olympic athlete was accused of murdering his girlfriend in South Africa. All over the world crazy things were happening and even as I reflected on my week I saw that I had kept busy and experienced many different and beautiful things. But, I couldn't pin point one message from the week that I was dying to share. There was not one moment that I thought to myself, "Wow, this is where God is moving." I thought and thought about what I needed to say, and came up with nothing. And at first I was

Match made in HEAVEN.

"We become what we love and who we love shapes what we become. If we love things, we become a thing. If we love nothing, we become nothing. Imitation is not a literal mimicking of Christ, rather it means becoming the image of the beloved, an image disclosed through transformation. I always joke around that one day I'm going to leave the world I know and become a professional Christian matchmaker. And although I can't say I have a successful match rate or that I've even accurately brought two soul mates together, there is a natural longing in my heart for all people to find love. Instinctively, when I meet a new person, my first thought goes to who could they love. I know it's bizarre. But it's truth. From the second I see them I am searching for their heart, amidst the rest, and nailing down in my mind everything that they co

Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Once a year, whether you are a fan or not, the Sunday comes around where everyone crowds in front of the television to watch one game. It's Super Bowl Sunday! I'm a girl who can get into the game, and while my team may not be competing for the win this season, I appreciate a close game and a well fought for victory. So as the snacks on the table quickly disappear, and the seconds on the clock tick away, I find myself cheering for a fair match. I want the game to go down to the wire. I want to see the team who wants it more fighting with all they have for the winning play. A blow out is boring. I don't want to know who wins before the second half even rolls around. And, perhaps, as a girl with strong faith, I'd love nothing more than the game coming dow
